STATE OF ENVIRONMENT REPORT

 

1. Uttaranchal Environment Protection and Pollution Control Board is preparing State of Environment Report with the assistance of Infrastructure Development Finance Company limited (IDFC).

 

2. MoU was signed on 07.07.03.

 

Leave the world better than you found it, take no more than you need, try not to harm life or the environment, and make amends if you do.

3. First kick-off meeting with Govt. Officials was held on 26.07.03.

 

4. Meeting with stakeholders and NGO’s was held on 28.07.03.

 

5. Identification of Nodal Officers with different departments of Govt. of Uttaranchal for data collection.

 

6. State of Environment Report is expected to be ready by March 2004.
